Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 3, 2026
Screencore is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to follow widely recognized accessibility standards and to keep improving the experience over time.
Conformance Status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
At our most recent review, every page of this website passed an automated WCAG 2.1 A and AA evaluation. "Conformance" describes how well content meets the guidelines; because websites and assistive technologies change, we describe this as an ongoing commitment rather than a fixed certification.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, this website is built with the following in mind:
- Text and background colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Every page can be navigated with a keyboard alone, and the currently focused element is always visible.
- A "Skip to content" link lets keyboard and screen-reader users bypass the navigation.
- Headings, landmarks, and lists are marked up so assistive technology can understand page structure.
- Interactive controls -- the navigation menu and expandable questions -- expose their state to assistive technology.
- Decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers; meaningful images have text alternatives.
- Links within text are underlined, so they are distinguishable without relying on color alone.
- Animations are reduced or turned off for visitors whose system is set to "Reduce Motion."
- The page layout responds to zoom and to different screen sizes without loss of content.
Assessment Approach
We evaluate this website using a combination of automated accessibility testing and manual review of color contrast, keyboard navigation, page structure, and content. Accessibility is considered when we make changes to the site, not only after the fact.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of this website may not yet be fully accessible. Automated testing cannot catch every issue, and we are continuing to expand our manual testing with assistive technologies. If you encounter a barrier that is not described here, please let us know using the contact details below -- your feedback helps us find and fix problems we may have missed.
Scope
This statement applies to the Screencore website. The Screencore macOS application is a separate product; if you experience an accessibility issue inside the app, please contact us so we can address it directly.
